TikTok has started rolling out a feature to allow creators to share Stories on other platforms, such as Facebook and Instagram. You will be able to take your stories from the short video app to other platforms, without having to download them first or upload them through another program.
If previously it was possible to share TikTok Stories only with friends on the social network itself, the new menu shows new options such as Facebook, Instagram and Stories, as well as another to copy the direct link to the Story in question.
It's worth noting that the feature is about sharing TikTok stories, not popular videos. Stories can be still images or videos, like on other platforms, and unless the content creator is posting their TikTok videos to Stories, this is not a way to share TikToks on Reels, for example.
The feature recently started rolling out to some users, so not everyone has access to it yet, and TikTok hasn't confirmed when that will be.
