Formerly known as Blue for Business, Twitter is now inviting businesses to sign up for its next subscription plan, the Verification for Organizations (Verification for Organizations), which will replace the current verification process for corporate users.
Not many details have yet been given about what a company will receive when subscribing. For now, just the following description: “As a subscriber, you and your company will receive business accounts and membership badges through our self-service administrative portal”. In other words, a newly launched gold (branded) verification badge and affiliation badges that can be used to identify your employees or other accounts linked to the brand. In addition to the square profile image.
Essentially, companies that want to keep their verification badge will have to sign up for the new program at some point, as Twitter has already determined that current blue verification badges will be removed from pre-existing verified accounts (but with no set date).
It is assumed that this commercial subscription will cost more than Twitter Blue's personal subscriptions (US$ 8 per month), but no information about this has been released.
